Jeep India launches SUV Meridian
Jeep India has launched it’s new model of SUV Stellantis with a signature jeep look and design elements to ensure that the new automobile model stands apart from the rest of it’s competitors.
The new model is launched keeping in mind the safety of the customers, premium interiors and luxury along with the comfort and not to mention providing an unforgettable driving experience. It comes with a 2 litre diesel turbo engine and 9 speed automatic plus 6 speed manual transmission options.
Stellantis is launched along with Grand Cherokee and Compass Trailhawk models which are specifically being launched for the Indian markets to cater to the people here. Compass trail hawk was launched at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 30.72 lakhs. The Stellantis will also be priced keeping the Indian consumers in mind and the plant at Ranjangaon, Maharashtra is all geared up to deliver the franchise.
The state of the art plant and production unit shows the company’s commitment to the Indian markets. In a virtual conference mode since two years the company has decided to invest US Dollars 250 million in five of it’s products including Wrangler and Compass for the Indian roads.
The company plans to invest more than 30 billion dollars by 2025 and export it’s automobiles to countries of the Asia-Pacific, Japan and South Korea. The main competition in the market to Stellantis is Toyota Fortuner and it is a fact that the model is being launched as an answer to the Toyota SUV. The deliveries of the vehicle will begin in June 2022. It will be the first three row SUV designed and engineered specifically for India.
