Ford India states that the fuel efficiency of petrol engine is with the 5-speed manual at 17kmpl and the 6-speed automatic stands at 14.8kmpl. The diesel motor is a bit more competent now returning a claimed 23kmpl when compared to the 22.27kmpl of the outgoing model.
The equipment list of the new EcoSport is also broader this time around. On the outside, one can get projector headlamps, reverse parking camera, dual reversing lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, on the safety front, one can get ABS with EBD and dual airbags, and rear door child lock as standard, safe clutch start and high speed warning.
The Ford EcoSport Facelift is available in seven different shades for the body - Canyon Red, Lightening Blue, Diamond White, Race Red, Moodust Silver, Absolute Black and Smoke Grey. In the core, the Race Red color replaces the Golden Bronze shade.

Finally, Ford India has launched its new 2017 Ecosport Facelift in India at a starting price of ₹ 7.31 lakh for the petrol base variant and go up to ₹ 10.37 lakh for the top-spec diesel variant. Unlike the previous model, which was offered with one diesel motor and two petrol engines, the facelift will come with a simpler choice, one diesel and petrol. Whereas the diesel motor remains the same, the petrol engine is an all-new 3-cylinder unit that produces 123PS/150Nm and displaces 1.5-litres of fuel. Those figures are 2PS/20Nm of what the 1.0-litre Eco-boost engine generated.
