AAP in turmoil 

What is the way forward for Aam Aadmi Party after the arrest of its head honcho, Arvind Kejriwal,  the Chief Minister of Delhi...? How will it affect its chances in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls?..Both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the AAP are trading charges, with the latter alleging that the saffron party is out to finish Kejriwal through government agencies. The BJP, on the other hand, has countered that Kejriwal’s arrest exposes corruption in the Delhi government. INDIA bloc leaders have rallied behind Kejriwal.
45 per cent of voters believe that Kejriwal's arrest will impact the 2024 general elections; 35 per cent of voters say it won’t.
While 48 per cent of voters believe that Kejriwal's arrest will benefit BJP’s anti-graft campaign, 39 per cent say it won’t.
52 per cent of voters believe that Kejriwal's arrest will generate sympathy votes and 39 per cent say it won’t.
48 per cent of voters believe that Kejriwal's arrest will unite the opposition; 36 per cent say it won’t.

In the 2015 Vidhan Sabha elections held within a year, the BJP’s vote share declined to 32 per cent, while AAP’s rose to a whopping 54 per cent. Congress’ vote share declined further to 10 per cent. Others also registered a two per cent decline. AAP gained at the expense of the BJP, Congress and Others. A total of 21 per cent of voters switched loyalties between 2015 and 2014. They voted for different parties in different elections: 14 per cent of them chose BJP in the national elections and AAP in the state elections.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing an event in Delhi’s Dwarka recently, commented on the alliance saying “0+0 is still zero” and expressed confidence that the BJP will win all seven seats for a third consecutive time
The Delhi government has  said that CM Arvind Kejriwal's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in an excise policy-linked money laundering case, will not affect public services, social welfare schemes, and subsidies.
“People should not be misled by any fear-mongering and malicious disinformation in this regard," Rai said in a statement while appealing people to not fall prey to "rumor mongers, who would try to take advantage of the situation arising from the CM's arrest
AAP on the other 
has deputed Cabinet Ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Gopal Rai to take stock of the situation along with Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak. All of them have been reiterating that Mr. Kejriwal will continue to be the Chief Minister even if he is in jail. The Congress is yet to announce its candidates for its three seats. Meetings on how both these parties are going to tackle the elections are yet to be conducted.
